Jarah were an exhibitor at the conference, with special guests ‘My Competency Expert’!
Anthony Beasley, Nat Simlesa and the team were on hand and spoke about our range of services such as Risk Management, SHMS establishment and implementation, Instructional design, Training for statutory competencies and OCE's, Practising Certificate Scheme (PCS), Recognised Standard 22 process and compliance and more.
We had an amazing time, and are already planning for next years conference!

Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition, Mackay QLD

Jarah Corporate's Director Anthony Beasley moderated a panel as part of the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) Seminar Series earlier today, featuring Trevor Trott (SSE Peabody Energy CMJV), Tom O'Connor (SSE Pembroke Resources Olive Downs Complex) and Steve Amor (My Competency Expert and Director Zen Meerkat).
'Navigating the Recognised Standard 22 Management Structure to support health and safety' touched on topics such as managing absences in the management structure, practicable processes to determine competence and how mines have adjusted the way they manage their Management Structure since the implementation of RS22.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to our panellists for their time and contribution to an engaging discussion!

A thought provoking and conversation starting presentation that highlights the requirements of Recognised Standard 22 and suggestions on how to ensure your site is compliant.
