Queensland Mining Industry Health & Safety Conference (QMIHS), Gold Coast, QLD

17 - 20 August 2025

Another amazing event and opportunity to relish the company of like minded industry professionals.

We were proud to be an exhibitor and sponsor of the Conference App at this years Queensland Mining Industry Health & Safety Conference.

A fantastic opportunity for the industry to come together across 4 days to re-establish our commitment to safety in the mining industry. From inspiring key note speakers, to learnings from industry and informational concurrent sessions from industry peers - we all came away from it with food for thought and a reignited passion to strive for a safer industry.

The Jarah Corporate Pty Ltd team had some great conversations, connected with both new and old friends and are even more determined to make a real difference for our clients!

Amongst the Health and Safety Innovation Awards, there was a new category - one for exhibitors. This is where exhibitors and delegates were able to vote on a number of categories.
We are incredibly proud to share that our very own Nat Simlesa was voted 'The Most Engaging / Friendliest Exhibitor' for this years conference.

We are already planning a return at next years conference! If you would like to know more about our services, or our take-aways from the conference, get in touch!

Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition, Mackay QLD

23-25 July 2024

Jarah Corporate's Director Anthony Beasley moderated a panel as part of the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME) Seminar Series earlier today, featuring Trevor Trott (SSE Peabody Energy CMJV), Tom O'Connor (SSE Pembroke Resources Olive Downs Complex) and Steve Amor (My Competency Expert and Director Zen Meerkat).

'Navigating the Recognised Standard 22 Management Structure to support health and safety' touched on topics such as managing absences in the management structure, practicable processes to determine competence and how mines have adjusted the way they manage their Management Structure since the implementation of RS22.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and thanks to our panellists for their time and contribution to an engaging discussion!

Looking forward to the next Expo being held in 2026!
